Think before your buy
I don't understand why people are complaining how this game is far different from the arcade version. Keep in mind this is a game made by Genki, not Bandai, who made the arcade version. As a fan of thes series, it is very regretting that the arcade version will not be ported but at the same time this game is still fun to play.

Well worth it
As someone with no Japanese language ability it proved as no issue. The menu's are surprisingly in English, the only problem is not being able to understand the story, not that really matters in an arcade racer game. Interesting game mechanics with the possibility of blowing your engine if you push to hard, yet it works as it adds a level of planning and thinking to racing. No option to customize your own car, just the cars from the anime. As someone who likes arcade racers and sick of the western series (NFS etc) it was an enjoyable game
