Alright Game, But... Buyer Beware!
Okay, first some backstory, i bought this on PC back in 2021 when it was still in early access, it was quite unfinished back then, and when the game updated, it erased my save file, so, i decided to put it on the shelf for the time being, then this console release happened right around the same time the game came out of early access, i heard it was still full of bugs, so i waited yet again, then for some reason they decided to make a physical release, which got me pretty excited, and now months later i'm sitting here with my copy.

Aaaand so unfortunately i have to be the bearer of bad news, they never polished the game, it has one of the worst sins of gaming, a bug that wipes out all your progress, but lucky for you if you disable cloud saving for the game, it supposedly prevents the bug from occuring, i don't know if this is true or not, what i do know is that the bug DID happen within my first two hours of gameplay, i quickly pressed the home menu button, backed my latest save up to the cloud (which force quits the game) and upon restarting the game, the game freaked out and removed the UI, i then reset again, which fixed it.. but wait, it also somehow reset the entire world, my character had all it's upgrades and weapons, but everything else reset, thanks 3D Realms, love it when you sell us broken games, i guess on a positive note the whole game is on disc.

Basically TL;DR - if you want to buy this game, be prepared that you might have your progress completely reset, otherwise it's fine.

A great dark and gritty First person adventure
A great first person action adventure with some RPG mechanics game set in a dark and gritty fantasy world. RPG mechanics include Upgrading you weapons and learn new spells. A great addition to any collection.
