תיאור הפריט

Digital Display Collection: 500 Series Shinkansen Memorial is a railway-focused Nintendo Switch title that preserves the history of the iconic 500 Series through interactive recreations of its LED destination and onboard displays, allowing players to freely configure train services, destinations, stops, and seating displays while watching them operate like the real thing.

Digital Display Collection: 500 Series Shinkansen Memorial recreates the various digital displays used on the 500 Series Shinkansen, focusing on the displays themselves rather than simply recreating the train. Developed using real-world research and reference materials with cooperation from West Japan Railway Company (JR West), the Nintendo Switch title reproduces exterior side LED displays and interior passenger-information displays, including differences in display styles and specifications across different periods and train formations. Players can configure train types, destinations, stops, and seating information to create authentic display combinations or freely experiment with different arrangements.
