Ryoichi Hattori is a pioneer composer of Japanese pop music. Ryoichi Hattori created many pioneering Japanese pop songs that incorporated foreign rhythms, melodies, and harmonies, including works by Shizuko Kasagi, the queen of boogie. This 7-inch cut is from the tribute album "Songs of the Century, Songs of the Heart: A Tribute to Ryoichi Hattori," in which many artists have expressed their respect for Ryoichi Hattori. The album includes two songs, "Hey Hey Boogie" (original by Shizuko Kasaoki), which was created with the addition of brass by the Sincerity Brothers, and "Shopping Boogie" (original by Shizuko Kasaoki), which was transformed into a dubby atmosphere by Keiichi Sogabe with the Inokashira Rangers. This long-awaited 7-inch couples two of the most Vinyl-like songs on the tribute album.
