For portable HDDs, which are often carried around, the risk of dropping them is unavoidable. This product uses a shock-resistant body to protect the driver in the unlikely event of a drop. The shock-absorbing frame (leaf spring) and shock-absorbing rubber provide a firm guard for the built-in drive.

Supports the OS boot function of the Windows 10 backup software "Smart Twins Boot Edition".
Even if the built-in storage of your PC breaks down, you can boot the OS from this product, so you can continue using it as is.

The system backup app for Windows PC, "Smart Twins", is included. Both data and system areas can be easily backed up and restored.
From version 1.10, you can use "Smart Twins Boot Edition" to boot the OS from this product. Please upgrade to the latest version of Smart Twins.

By recessing the area around the USB connector on the housing and allowing part of the USB cable mold to be inserted into the housing, stress on the USB connector is reduced, lowering the risk of the USB connector breaking. The
connector terminal has also been designed to be easily inserted (utility model application pending).

The failure prediction function "Mimamori Aizu for Portable" monitors the health of the hard disk and alerts with an LED when the product begins to deteriorate.

When a failure prediction is notified, you can check the detailed situation by connecting to a PC with the client software "Mimamori Aizu" installed. You can also use the data transfer service (fees apply).

"Mimawori Aizu for Portable" is a feature that does not require any software or an Internet connection.
