Item Description

To commemorate hide's 60th anniversary, the treasured three-part series included in the permanent preservation special box "REPSYCLE - hide 60th Anniversary Special Box -" is released as an individual CD, presenting the remastered third album "Ja, Zoo (2024 Remaster & REPSYCLE)," which shows the completed form of the "new style of rock = cyborg rock" that hide continuously pursued, with all tracks remastered to a unified sound. This complete edition of "Ja, Zoo," finished through I.N.A.'s production work using the latest technology, includes the previously unreleased track "Ko Gal," "PINK CLOUD ASSEMBLY" with hide vocals, and more, and comes in a jewel case. For the album, a newly produced version of "PINK SPIDER" is included, different from the single "Pink Spider," created in line with hide's original idea. "HURRY GO ROUND" is re-edited based on a newly discovered hide vocal take that was accidentally found during the filming of the 2018 movie "HURRY GO ROUND." The miracle track "Ko Gal" (2014), created by I.N.A. using Yamaha-developed Vocaloid technology by connecting an extensive collection of hide's words, is further brushed up by re-editing hide's vocal takes and included. As no original vocal source existed at the time, "PINK CLOUD ASSEMBLY," which was originally recorded using a reading by hide's younger brother and personal manager Hiroshi Matsumoto, is included as a re-edited "hide vocal version" that was first unveiled at the one-man live concert "hide Memorial Day 2023 'hide with Spread Beaver appear!!'" held for the first time in 25 years. The included audio content is identical to the remastered audio included in the same box.
