Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken: Phantom Blood

Ive been an avid JoJo fan since the ps1 game a few years back and ever since ive collected the manga bought the anmie and all the games the ps1 version stardust crusaders and the capcom ps2 version golden whirlwind.
When this was annocunced I was estactic,So I finally ordered my asian ps2 along with this game and to my dissapointment this games is terrible.

I really wanted to like it becasue of what it was but I couldnt its just to damn broken the camera is a nightmare to control,The fighting engine is broken so to say.Its you and your opponent restricted to a small little area fighting and theres no lock at all so most of the time your just hitting air.The graphics are also medicore the ps2 JBA:golden whirlwind which came out in 2002 had better graphics than this.The models are clunky and jerky and they just dont look good.

The only good thing about this game and I stress only is the story its faithfully renacted and theres over 80 cutscenes,but it no way makes up for the terrible control scheme or the shoddy graphics.

For this day and age it could of been much better.It looks like a game that could of come out on the ps1.

Sound [4/10]

Ok I suppose nothing that really stands out,put it this way tough there will be no catchy tunes in your head after playing this.

Gameplay [1/10]

Im sorry but how did the gameplay get past the game testers its just so broken between the bad camera,the lack of lock on button and the limited amount of moves its just embarassing for the developers.

-It covers very first story arc.

-Camera is horrid
-Graphics are terrible.
-Gameplay is pathetic.
-Very reptative
-Just another anmie cash in

Conclusion:
While its does have a great story many will not play past the first level to progress as its that bad.Only and I mean only for Die-Hard fans only.Capcom should of made it at least then it would of been playable.Buy at own risk
