WET

This is a good tribute to grindhouse style cinema, in game form. Sure, it's gameplay is just adequate, but as an experience it makes up for it in style.

well designed and entertaining though game play does get boring as all levels are designed in a similar fashion. On the plus side though great tunes for mayhem.

WET is a fun game, harkens to the classic b-grade action flicks, and the gameplay works well with that.

Controls are easy, graphics are good (uses the same engine as Fallout 3), and is a pretty fast paced game.

My only gripe is that the levels and game play tend to get a little repetitive towards the end. But it is still an enjoyable game.

I love the character, aesthetics and attitude of this game! Paying homage to the grindhouse period of film history, WET perfectly captures the bloods, gore and cheesy one-liners that epitomized that era of movies. The pacing suffers at part, but for most of the time, the game is incredibly fun. Shooting two people simultaneously while doing a cartwheel in the air never seems to get old for me. All in all, WET is a game I would highly recommend.
