Arjuna Into The Another World

In January 2001, in the year the twenty first century began, the ultra sensorial animation "Earth Maiden Arjuna" by Shoji Kawamori (original work, series composition, director) and Yoko Kanno (music) was broadcast on terrestrial television. This much talked about work that sparked various reactions at the time of airing with its advanced nature overturning the common sense of TV animation is reissued as the original soundtrack to commemorate the twenty fifth anniversary of its TV broadcast. Slippery and dark, yet filled with transparent sound, the music that Yoko Kanno creates brings forth a truly borderless musical world. It also includes vocal numbers by Maaya Sakamoto.
