BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger [Limited Edition]

I was gonna gibe it a 4, but the bonuses are too good, I raised it to 5. Characters are unique and gameplay is solid!

The content is really awesome. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fast and furious 2D fighter!

This is the best fighting game of this generation.
Although you have only 12 characters, each one of them has a completely different playing style. It's like playing a different game for every character.
The game is easy enough for one to play from the get-go, but it takes months to fully master a character. This makes it equally fun and good both for beginners, experts, casual players and hardcore gamers.
The graphics are really smooth and defined, probably the peak of 2D art. Sound is also really good, both in effects and music. The music is specially very well chosen and composed.
Online mode might lag a little depending on location and connection speed, but it's usually very good. You can find both "player matches" for training and "ranked matches" which are more competitive.
If you're playing alone, the game still has plenty to offer. A multi-branching and deep story mode for each character makes for hours of gameplay, and the Score Attack mode is one of the biggest challenges you'll have. Finally, things you do in the game unlock artwork and tracks in gallery mode.
Overall, it's the best fighting game in this generation, and one of the best ever, even surpassing Street Fighter and its predecessor Guilty Gear.

As BlazBlue is the spiritual successor to the Guilty Gear series, it features a similar cast of crazy characters, beautiful graphics, and fast fighting action.

Also, BlazBlue features individual branching stories for each character, a robust online mode, and lots of unlockable content.

The game is easily accessible for newcomers, yet there are plenty of complex combos and special moves for veterans to master.

I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fast and furious 2D fighter!
