Bulletstorm

I got Bulletstorm after having it recommended to me from a friend. He said that if you want to see what the love child of gears of war duke nukem would be like try this. And he was pretty close to the mark.
A fun game to just unplug your higher logic functions and inflict bodily harm on hordes of mindless enemies. Just don't play it on hard or you might get so frustrated you'll just want to bite your controller!

Its just fun , no more no less

Bulletstorm is and extremely crass and wantonly violent video game. It's also enormously fun! It has a very mild RPG slant in the way weapons can be customized using accumulated skill points, but it's certainly nothing serious enough to over complicate things as RPGs are often guilty of doing. Graphically the game is very nicely done, and the gunfire and explosions sound very nice on a decent surround system. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The first person campaign was probably a bit shorter than I would have liked, but that said, the nature of the game (creative slaughter) would probably get old if it went on for much longer, so perhaps the length was almost alright. Anyway, this is a solid, entertaining FPS title - though I would check out Borderlands first if you haven't got that already.

the fun thing with this game is competing for high scores with your XBL friends.

A real breath of fresh air, a heap of fun that doesn't take itself too seriously.
