The Lovers Rock season is just around the corner!
This is the 9th volume of the latest compilation series " RELAXIN' WITH JAPANESE LOVERS", which will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2023, focusing on Japanese Lovers Rock. This time, in addition to "Kiss Kiss- ( Slowly Remix )" by Crazy Ken Band and "Hymne A Lamour - Ode to Love" by Hidefumi Ino, this 7-inch only compilation also includes "Reebok ( tofubeats remix )" by Satoko Shibata, a singer and songwriter who has attracted attention as a poet and writer. The Balearic and sweet selection of songs, both old and new, genre and major/indie, will surely give you love and tenderness. Nine songs from the CD, which has already been a hot topic, are newly released as "SELECTIONS" on analog vinyl. The cover, designed by Eisaku Ono, who has been involved with relaxation and other projects, and the photographs by Masataka Ishida, a signature of the series, are also still in place! Returning to the series' origins, the album will include liner notes by DJ/producer Akimasa Yabushita and writer Ken Miyauchi, who planned and compiled the album.
