The Gunstringer

You'll be sad when it's over ... excellent story telling done in the style of a spaghetti western and breaking the fourth wall in ways you wish you had dreamed, great action with just enough variety to keep you engaged and wanting more. Also bundled with fruit ninja too, which is a great party game.

Definitely different from the usual kinect games. Read somewhere that this is a must have collection and the review was right. The kinect sensor is able to accurately read movements making the game very enjoyable The free fruit ninja is insanely accurate, everyone in the family just loves it.

If you have a kinect then you owe it to yourself to get this game.

Kinect control feels just right, and the game is a hoot to play and the western setting is very nicely bought to life.

Plus, you also get Fruit Ninja which is a decent party game.

The only downside to this highly entertaining game is the short length.

The Kinect has no shortage of casual Wii esque experiences, Gunstringer breaks that with a game which is truly original and fun.
Its basically a shoot em up based in the wild west, the games owes much of its style to Western cowboy movies, pop culture and puppetry. You control you character through stages leaping over obsticles, avoiding on coming threats and painting targets to shoot. This is the basic format for each stage however there is plenty of variety such a section where you control and old style steam boat down a river or free fall avoiding mountain and boss fights where you have to put on a puppet show on stage for a real human audience (It needs to be seen to be believed). The game is short however it is best played over a week in bitesixe chunks and there are a huge number of unlockables and special modes to play with. Overall this is probably the most original game for kinect and a must buy if you have one.
