DYGL (Dayglo) has completed its fifth album, a complete turning point after the musical journey of the first four albums, which can be said to be a return to the roots or a step into a completely new realm. All songs were recorded without metronomes and with all instruments playing simultaneously in a single shot, with the aim of freeing the band from the grid and creating a more live-feeling texture. The album has a more physical, raw approach, and the whole album is like a set list for a live performance, This is the first chapter of the new DYGL. The random musical encounters that have been cultivated in the urban environment of Tokyo, an island nation in Japan, are woven into a tapestry of DYGL's music, as if set against the backdrop of Japanese magazine culture. It is a new framework that connects the past albums with the future ones.
