Ys DS / Ys II DS Special Box [Limited Edition]

As another reviewer similarly mentioned, the set is beautiful, packing a variety of excellent bonuses, however, the games themselves are quite disappointing. Having absolutely loved and played nearly every Ys title, the DS ports of Ys 1 and 2 coming from me, are highly unrecommended.

The stylus controls appear to be essentially tacked on are nothing other than an annoyance. The visuals themselves are largely unappealing especially compared to the PC original counterparts. However, the game itself is still great, and worth a buy for any Ys fan, even if it is to just acquire this small box, the gameplay from the original Ys 1 and 2 are still there.

Not entirely recommended. Consider a purchase only if you can't acquire Ys Complete.

It's a beautiful box set, but the games within are disappointing. The DS additions (extra area, stylus controls) are poorly tacked-on and add nothing to the game. It's not awful, but there are better versions of Ys 1 & 2 than these.

The set is big & beautifull, a must have for every Y´s Fan !
