Kusamori Shuichi Animation Artworks

The first collection of works by animation art director Shuichi Kusamori.
He has worked on the landscape depictions of works such as "Innocence" (originally written by Masamune Shirow, directed by Mamoru Oshii), "Metropolis" (originally written by Osamu Tezuka, screenplay by Katsuhiro Otomo, directed by Rintaro), "X-X The Movie" (originally written by CLAMP, directed by Rintaro), which are said to be the best animation art in Japan, and the "PSYCHO-PASS" series. However, these are not copies of real cityscapes or nature but are imaginary landscapes drawn to build the worldview of science fiction and fantasy. Shuichi Kusamori has conveyed fictional worlds with overwhelming realism. This book is the first art book to comprehensively collect Shuichi Kusamori's animation artworks over the past 40 years. In addition to art from a wide range of works such as "Innocence", "Metropolis", "X-X- The Movie", "PSYCHO-PASS" series, "Infini-T Force", "Divine Gate", "Mobile Police Patlabor the Movie", and "GHOST IN THE SHELL", the book also includes novel cover art and original artwork.
