Item Description

Step into the hauntingly dark and immersive world of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, a revitalized edition of the critically acclaimed action-adventure titles. Set in the grim land of Nosgoth, the series follows Raziel, a tormented wraith who once served as a lieutenant to the vampire lord Kain, now on a quest for vengeance and redemption.

Soul Reaver 1

In the first game, players control Raziel as he traverses a desolate and decaying Nosgoth. Betrayed and murdered by Kain, Raziel is resurrected as a Soul Reaver, bound to the mysterious Elder God. With newfound abilities, Raziel can shift between the material and spectral realms to solve intricate environmental puzzles and overcome enemies. As he hunts down Kain, Raziel uncovers dark truths about his existence, the vampire hierarchy, and the destiny of Nosgoth itself.

Soul Reaver 2

In the sequel, Soul Reaver 2, the narrative deepens as Raziel continues his pursuit of Kain through time. With time manipulation becoming central to the gameplay, Raziel uncovers more of Nosgoth's ancient history and the complex nature of fate and free will. New enemies, powers, and weapons challenge Raziel in this richly detailed gothic world. The game continues to blend puzzle-solving, exploration, and intense combat, with an even greater emphasis on narrative and character development.

Classic PS1 game to revisit
It retains the original voice and gameplay of the original.
Shaders can be toggled at any time which is great to see how much improvement a simple reshading could revitalize and bring nostalgia to this game. New added features are also nice which can also be turned on at any time during gameplay; like a compass, an overall view of the map and a night/day cycle.
It's a great addition for collectors and to revisit the world of nosgoth.
