We have CUTE EM UPs to refer to side scrolling and vertical shooters with cute witchs and cute characters. Well this is like a Cute Em Souls.

Game play has souls like mechanics, but a lot of it is done similar to a Third Person shooter since most of your attacks are ranged magic. SO we have a bit of a blend there. The game itself runs well on consoles. I had backed the PC game ages ago when it was in early access. This is a complete game with a story that is worth playing. You will have to learn the controls, dodging is a very specific on its timing so you will likely get hit a lot even when dodging when you start out.

This is a fun indie game that does have gameplay worth the asking price for the content that is in the game.

I do have to note the console versions did cut out some of the more risque videos you can earn in the PC version. Most likely for ratings purposes. Other then that the game is all here. And the artstyle and look is a fun shake up of a normally just dark and sad theme of most souls like games.
