Storyline:
In 1999, an Earth Unification War broke out over an alien space battleship that crashed on Earth. Eight years have passed, and an abnormal energy reaction is detected on the Island of Mayan, a solitary island in the South Sea where legends of birdmen remain.
It is presumed to be a protoculture, a legacy of over-technology left behind by aliens, and the joint forces and anti-integration forces begin an invasion over it. Meanwhile, Joint Forces pilot Shin Kudo, who was shot down by an enemy plane and left alone on Mayan Island, meets Sara, a young shrine maiden.
