Storyline:
In 1999, an Earth Unification War broke out over an alien space battleship that crashed on Earth. Eight years have passed, and an abnormal energy reaction is detected on the Island of Mayan, a solitary island in the South Sea where legends of birdmen remain.
It is presumed to be a protoculture, a legacy of over-technology left behind by aliens, and the joint forces and anti-integration forces begin an invasion over it. Meanwhile, Joint Forces pilot Shin Kudo, who was shot down by an enemy plane and left alone on Mayan Island, meets Sara, a young shrine maiden.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

I am very glad to see Big West releasing more Macross sets like these with English subs! It is VERY appreciated and I am always happy to support any kind of release I can of this franchise. This series has never looked better!
