Item Description

Manufacture Count: 3,000 Limited Editions.

Developed by Talesshop, Miracle Snack Shop allows players to manage their very own snack shop while exploring the magic and stories of the in-game characters throughout their own journey! Including fully voiced dialogue from the original Korean and Japanese voice actors, Miracle Snack Shop will have you falling in love with the characters - and your new-found snack shop profits!

Miracle Snack Shop offers an emotionally cozy and complete story while maintaining high replay value through the many available shop management options and meta progression. Experience the story and your snack shop in new ways with each subsequent playthrough.

Meet the characters!
Philia is a queen from another world who accidentally ended up in the snack shop after crossing through a portal in her closet. She goes by the name Queen Salt, and her particular way of speaking seems to prove that she is true royalty! As she visits the snack shop every week for shaved ice, she grows closer and closer to the cook.

Mira is a former journalist who first visits the snack shop as an influential streamer, ready to present her business opportunity to the cook. There seems more to be revealed about the character as her on-screen personality seems very different from her real one. Which version will you see more of?

Limited Vs Standard Edition
Since a lot of people reviewed the game itself and not any of the bonuses, I’ll discuss the items in the special edition instead.

TLDR: I would say that even if you only have a passing interest in the game, upgrading to the limited edition is an absolute must.

The box looks great on the shelf, and the standees are surprisingly big and well detailed. The little keychain with a switch case on it is cute, and the hook is one of the nicer ones that don’t break as easily.

The soundtrack is the only downgrade, as it comes in one of those thin plastic cases and not a proper jewel case like you’d see on a normal cd. There’s also no art or anything on the back of it and it’s super skinny and doesn’t display nicely from the side.

The postcards are cute and have good quality art, and it’s fun that you get a plastic card to show the serial number of the game you got. The sticker was sort of meh, but honestly, the standees and keychain more than make up for it.

Overall, absolutely worth the small amount of money it is to upgrade to the limited edition. The standees are really too cute to miss!

A nice Korean VN with some lore behind it
My first VN that isn't originally Japanese and I absolutely loved it. I hope PlayAsia will do
more VN's like this.

I mostly played the PS4 version but I imagine the gameplay is pretty in parity with the Switch version that I also bought. I really wish they did a physical PS4 version. I get it that the Switch is like the favorite child console right now but some people just like a PlayStation version better. That's really only my gripe.

The characters are absolutely gorgeous. Philia and Mira are good character designs to catch one's eye. The CG art is really good and can definitely get titillating. No shortage of fan service.

The game, as it's mentioned before, is a visual novel and like a business management simulator. The simulator part isn't very hard which is nice. The game has multiple endings, some of which kind of continue on after a while and some end pretty quickly after your choice of ending. Don't worry about trying to get all of the endings in one run, it's pretty much impossible. You'll need to do the story multiple times in order to get certain endings.

What a game !
Firstly, I thought it would just be a passing game, with a generic scenario etc.

Surprisingly, I found myself liking the story more than I thought I would from start to finish. I got to the point where I was sad to finish the game and regretted the flawless dubbing. I'm really happy with this purchase and I'm now a huge fan of the company that developed this beautiful game.
