Mister Ajikko Manpuku Teishoku Original Soundtrack Album (Clear Red Vinyl)

The original work is a cooking manga of the same name by Daisuke Terasawa that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" from the fall of 1986 to the end of 1989, and was adapted into an anime series that aired on TV Tokyo from October 1987 to September 1989. This is the only soundtrack album for this anime series.
This variety album, written, scripted, and directed by the anime's director, Yasuhiro Imagawa, features two theme songs (the opening theme "Renaissance Jounetsu" and the ending theme "Kokoro no Photograph"), composed and sung by singer-songwriter Wataru Kuniyasu, known for his work on Akina Nakamori's "Gypsy Queen," including lyrics by Kazuki Matsumoto and arrangement by Tatsumi Yano. It also features image songs, eye-catching clips, and trailers by renowned comedy songwriters Masayuki Yamamoto (Sides A 4 and 6) and Tatsuo Kamon (Sides B 1 and 7). The main background music was composed and arranged by Daido Fujita (Sides A 1, 3, 5, and 7, Side B 3 and 5). Original author Daisuke Terasawa also contributed lyrics to two songs (Sides B 3 and 5). Voice actor Tomohiro Nishimura contributed vocals (Sides A 8 and B 7) and arrangements (Side B 7). Voiced by Minami Takayama, Yoko Kawanami, Miki Narahashi, Hirotaka Suzuoki, and Kenyu Horiuchi, who also participated in the voice acting and chorus of the mini-drama, this "Bravo! Anime Connoisseur's Album," which depicts a comical yet dramatic cooking battle and concludes the Showa era, is now being reissued as an analog LP after 37 years!
