A game that shows its age

Overall a nice superheroes game. Relative easy to pick up and play though the button mashing fight can get monotonous. The story and mechanics of the game is sound. Was a great game in 2008 but the tech lacks a little compared to the competition now.

Mediocre and very buggy

Game arrived, so purchase was very smooth (US version Works on a PAL console).
Game itself is badly coded with more bugs and glitches than any game I've yet seen on the Xbox 360.
Has some very dodgy camera problems (especially while wall crawling).
it's frozen a few times on me now where I've had to restart the console.
Missions are very repetitive.
Combat can be repetitive but if you make an effort to use all the different moves then it's not as bad.
Swinging is fun and works ok.
Some funny examples of glitches:
While fighting wolverine he just stopped moving after about a minute.
Spiderman stopped responding a few times until some bad guys just killed me and I restarted.
Walked around an alley and there were 2 cops in mid air upside down, one in a standing position and one seated (my favourite random thing in a game ever).
In fairness there's probably more fun in finding stupid things wrong with this game than there is in actually playing the missions.

Web Slinging...

You can't do it in real life, but you can with Spidey.
Game plays smoothly, story is fun, decent amount of game time. If your into replay value then you can play once as good Spidey and once as bad Spidey, as the choices you make alter the ending of the game.
Good grab for a great price.

Catches thieves just like flies
