Item Description

This fifth installment in Wink Music Service's 7-inch series features guest vocals from Meari (Yurumerumo!), making this a special, limited-edition 7-inch. It features two exquisite tracks that reinvent the essence of '60s pop for the modern era.
The new track on Side A, "Night in Soho," is a fairytale tale about the dreams and transience of stardom of a girl who longs for Soho, the mecca of '60s London street culture. Meari's cute, poppy vocals and the soft harmonies with Keitaro Takanami create a modern, Burt Bacharach-esque sophisticated pop.
Side B features "Audrey Hepburn Complex," Pizzicato Five's debut track from 1985. This self-cover, composed by Keitaro Takanami, is a nostalgic yet modern track, punctuated by a bouncy Motown-inspired bassline and gorgeous strings. Meari breathes new life into the group with her singing voice, which combines languid charm and cuteness reminiscent of Pizzicato Five's original vocalist, Mamiko Sasaki.
