Product Features

  • Users will be able to use 3DS, DSi, and DSi LL adaptors with the 3DS LL

Item Description

The screen is 90 percent bigger, with larger bottom and top screens. It's called the Nintendo 3DS LL in Japan and the Nintendo 3DS XL in the West. The top screen measures at 4.88 inches and is 90 percent bigger, while the bottom screen is 4.18 inches and is also 90 percent bigger. For the 3DS LL, the battery will last 3.5 to 6.5 hours while playing 3DS games (as compared to 3 to 5 hours with the 3DS). The battery will last 6 to 10 hours for DS games (as compared to 5 to 8 hours for the 3DS). To cut costs, Nintendo is selling the AC adapter as a stand alone in Japan, but the 3DS LL will work with current 3DS/DSi/DSi LL plugs. Nintendo is packaging the 3DS LL with a 4GB SD card.

Best console I've ever owned
Was a huge fan of the DS when I got it and it's successor hasn't let me down. It's lovely. If I need to say anything bad about it it's that I don't appreciate my regular DS-games as much anymore!

LL white
This one really turns heads when your playing in public. Unlike the fisher-price colors we have in the US.

3DS LL White
I already had a regular 3DS but purchased this due to region-lock. I have not regretted my purchase. Delivery was fast and efficient. The older 3DS feels claustrophobic and tiny after using the LL! Setup was straightforward despite my rudimentary Japanese. I was also pleased to find that it connects fine to all wifi services, despite Nintendo-Europe telling me otherwise over the phone. Note that it does not come with a power adapter - if you don't already own a regular 3DS you will need to purchase one separately.
