A small little hidden gem
It's a Metroidvania that might feel a bit 'more of the same' at first glance in its mechanics, but as you play deeper you'll see his value, and consider other elements like its state-of-the-art pixel art, its precise controls that make it flow like Symphony of the Night, and the premise of a mystery surrounding the old adventurer party from the memorable Record of Lodoss War, the result is a game you won't want to miss. Lodoss deserves even more recognition than it has, because trully is the LotR of Japan.

Record of Lodoss War - Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth (Nintendo Switch)
The game is amazing on Switch! It's a Metroidvania type of game with visuals and gameplay mechanics that would remind most of the classic Castlevania : Symphony of the Night. It's a beautifully crafted little gem that's ideal for any fan of the genre. Must-have! 😎👍

A short but very enjoyable experience!
The game is a bit on the short side, around 6 hours long but the game-play is a bit of a mix between metroidvania and old-schooled Castlevania. When it comes to boss battles the game takes an unique approach mixing in shooter elements, Ikaruga comes closest to mind.

The aesthetics looks great, the music is a bit dull. But all in all I enjoyed it, even though the game is short it actually helps it feel engaging all the way and it's never a dull moment.

And not to mention, if your a fan of the Lodoss-series you wont be disappointed.

Good old metroidvania nostalgia
An addictive pixellated reto game of a classic rpg. The more you explore, the more abilities and weapons you unlock to have a versatile gameplay experience. While there is a story, the exploration takes a more Front and centre stage. Classic and has repeatability.
