Megaman Goes Physical
I have the US version via digital code but had to buy the japanese version because having physical releases are important to me. As for the games, they are great!
If you are a MM fan, this is a essential and they run well in the switch.

Let's Get Physical, Physical
Capcom does a Capcom by making a port of several decade-old games a hassle to own on your own terms.
Thank God they tend to favor the overseas market and that more and more games have all languages on them.

updated information
ROCKMAN X ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION 2 has both English text and english menus, you have to look at the very top of the screen to see before you select your game and the option at the top will tell you how to change your each game from one language/region to to another on the game selection menu.

Good Games, Great collection!
I really like what Capcom is doing with these classics collections. The museum gallery is a really nice addition.
When it comes to the games, the emulation is fine. It has a little bit of latency, the scalling doesn't have interpolation, and there is no save states.

Superior japanese version
Bought the japanese version because for me, physical releases are the way to go. That is how I used to buy and play games (even PC games in the late 90/00s) and that is how I will raise my daughter to appreciate something that nowadays seems as from a bygone era.
The most important thing to know about the japanese version of Rockman X Anniversary Collection 2 is that it comes with all versions of the game released worldwide. It is essentially the same game as the digital versions released in EU and US. The only difference is that the japanese version has rockman logo at the beginning and displays the Rockman versions by default. All you have to do is toggle between the rock/megaman versions with the Y button in the menus. The menus are also in English:)
The release is of higher quality than the MMX12 collections US got. This one has the cover printed on the back + you get a cheatsheet with the boss weaknesses for all games in this version, although in Japanese.
