The mystery worth unraveling
The game offers great story served in very good pace (8 investigation chapters, 2 for closing), so we are constantly intrigued by it. Characters are unique with their interesting personalities and protagonist isn't irritating (which happens to often in Japanese games). Gameplay is very interactive which serves well this detective story. Also Kadokawa made great work with moving Shimane prefecture to the game, not only in detailed visuals but also with things like regions folklore and even food. As for endings, only one was weird an unsusceptible for me, rest was nicely swinging around facts that are discovered during the game.
That particular Visual Novel will be great not only for genre and Japanese games fans but also for rest of the gamers.

Beautiful music, great story, great characters
Thank you for bringing this gem to the West, PQube! 5 endings even ensure good replayability. First playthrough took me about 12 hours (no walkthrough or outside help).

If you like point & click adventure games or visual novels, you can't go wrong here.
