Начиная незадолго до финала FEAR, отряд спецназа выполняет рутинную миссию, когда город Оберн сотрясает сверхъестественный взрыв. Альма, девушка с огромной силой и жаждой мести, обрушила свой гнев на город и погрузила его в хаос. Отряд должен сражаться с вражескими силами и сверхъестественными силами, пытаясь найти способ остановить Альму и раскрыть таинственные силы, выступившие против них, пока не стало слишком поздно.

dated grapchis but still a lot of fun
when the first FEAR launched it was the 1st FPS game to use the now famous bullit time from matrix movies and max payne games. It was also the single best looking game around when it first launched on the PC. Such leaps and bounds in the FPS field can NOT be said about FEAR 2. If you can get past that, and accept FEAR 2 as "just another FPS games" then it is a really fun FPS game well worth a playthrough or two. It is well worth playing if you want to play FEAR 3, but is not required for the story. (the story has never been very good in ANY of the fear games, and is a little jumbled up and confusing if you as me. Bascily all 3 games AND DLC missions all take place in the same city, right before/ during/ right after the exact same event. The big supernatural explosion. At least I think that is the case)

Like the first version with a lot improvements that can make you busy for a while.
