Tianji: Shadow of the Ancients is a turn-based RPG set during the turbulent Tianbao era of the Tang Dynasty. Play as Shangguan Shuo, an amnesiac Tianji Guard soldier who awakens with only a fish token and a strange mask as clues to his identity. His journey through Bashu and a mysterious millennium-old underground city gradually draws him into the conspiracy of the Xuanxin Order.
The game combines classic RPG mechanics with combo-driven turn-based combat, allowing players to exploit enemy weaknesses, use Chain Skills and Pursuit Skills, and combine skills, equipment, and Core effects.
