Item Description

A collection of illustrations exclusively for "Samurai Troopers" by Mizuki Ken and Tachibana Kaim.
The anime series "Samurai Troopers" aired on television from April 1988 to March 1989, and subsequently became a huge hit thanks to its over-the-top animations and the popularity of its voice actors. The story follows five boys, Ryo, Shin, Shu, Seiji, and Touma, who are drawn by fate to come together, don protective gear called Yoroi Gear, and fight against the evil forces led by the demon emperor Arago.
The new series, "Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers," will begin airing in January 2026. This book, released to coincide with the climax of the new series, is a dream collaboration art book by Mizuki Ken and Tachibana Kaim, both avid fans of "Samurai Troopers," who have produced numerous official illustrations and manga. This book contains almost all of the major official and private illustrations for "Samurai Troopers," which Mizuki Ken and Tachibana Kaim have been working on for many years. The beautiful, hand-painted color originals have been faithfully reproduced.
This is a fantastic collaborative art piece, depicting the publication of "Lemon Boys," a photo book in which Touma and Seiji make their modeling debut after passing an audition that Hide had applied for. This gorgeous and beautiful 160-page art collection includes specially drawn illustrations made specifically for this book. The rough sketches, end-of-book features, and a long interview with the two authors are also must-sees and must-reads!
