Space Invaders: Invincible Collection [Special Edition]

All the games work great and the packaging is really nice. The text in game supports English and automatically defaults to your preferred language. One caution though, the Arkanoid game comes as a download code. This means you will need a Japanese Eshop account to download it. The Arkanoid game also only works in vertical handheld mode. These are things I feel people should be aware of. Otherwise, it’s an absolutely fantastic package!!!

This is a fantastic collection. As someone who's grown up playing videogames since the Atari era, I am very familiar with Space Invaders. This collection contains many if not all renditions that have been created of this game. Although I've never been a huge fan of Space Invaders in general, I cannot deny it's legacy in videogame history. That's the main reason I bought this. Space Invaders is an entertaining game but it's very simplistic of course since it's one of the earliest pioneers in the shoot em up genre. Even if you don't like the original Space Invaders, this collection has the most recent version of it called Space Invaders Extreme which is a great game and should appeal to those who like shoot em ups but want something with a more modern approach.
