description
An accidentally made time machine is going to start the third world war. But before most people are killed, the two ladies closest to Rintaro might be meeting their deaths. When Rintaro and Mayuri go to a conference, they stumble upon the body of Kurisu. Alarmed, Rintaro sent a mail back to his friend. However, he has no idea that the mail reached the past, and time is changed. Kurisu is alive in this timeline, and from her, he learned of a group called SERN. SERN will do anything to gain control of the time machine. To thwart them, Rintaro has to travel back time repeatedly and lie to a lot of people. Because if he doesn't, the girls he's closest to are going to die again, and this time, no time machines are going to help them.

A good buy, great story
I like the art style. First time I play this game or any in the series as a matter of fact, so up until now I can honestly say I like the game. I'll update my review when I complete the game

Contents Review Rather than Game Review
I purchased this Limited Edition version of the Japanese Steins: Gate visual novel primarily for the box and featured replica of the Phone. Since I cannot translate Japanese Kanji or the spoken language I can't speculate to the quality of the game itself other than that the visuals are very nice for a novel of this sort.
The replica phone is very good in quality. It's made of plastic but with a metallic finish to give the effect of a more sturdy lifelike phone. The buttons click inward pleasantly and it has a nice weight to it. The ability to play characters voices out of it is a charming addition too. The battery is not included for obvious reasons and the product will require a flat lithium battery about the size of a 10 pence coin (GBP).
I paid £30 in total for the product and shipping and it arrived in 3 weeks which is decent.

Very good package
Comes in a nice presentation box along with the game and a replica of Okabes phone. It's not a real phone though to be clear. It's a great value package.

Excellent spin off to a great VN
If you played the previous title or watched the anime, then chances are you will love this as well. The story is told from various characters point of view which gives the game it's unique charm.
