I guess this is the best drum to go with for Taiko on Switch. The only better option would probably be a few hundred-dollar order-made drum. Also, you can use other drumsticks with it, so you can test around if the real drumsticks work better for you. There's a place for small bottles beneath the drum, and I would actually advise to use it to make the drum heavier and more secure, since it tends to move around when you hit it ever so slightly. In the heat of a song it can travel quite a bit, it even fell off a stool for me once.

The controller works great for Taiko no Tatsujin. It is connected through HDMI so if you do not have the dock, I would suggest getting an HDMI to USB-c converter. The controls work great and shipped on time. Highly recommend!

I'm not an expert on taiko drum controllers but I like this one. After some calibration it works pretty good and it's so fun do play! The drum is sturdy and has to be sotfen a little (I did not mod it) to count the beats.

The Taiko Drum is excellent! And it is everything I ever wanted. Now, I can finally play the Taiko games properly. I really recommend you to buy it, it is a must for every rhythm game enthusiast.
