Item Description

"Technosoft Soundtrack Vol. 4" revived with the "latest recording" for 2022! The songs are from the hit shooting game series "Thunder Force" created by the legendary and popular software maker Technosoft. "Thunder Force" (1983) was the first game for X1 and PC-8801mkIISR. This was followed by the second title, "Thunder Force II" (1988) for X68000. Thunder Force II" for the X68000 (1988), and its Mega Drive port, "Thunder Force IIMD" (1989). This 2 CD set contains all of the background tracks from each of these games, which continue to fascinate many fans to this day, as well as new digital recordings from each PC and Mega Drive machine! (*Only Disc-I [M01] is an analog recording.) And the highlight of this album, the Special Bonus Track on Disc-II [M23], is "Thunder Force II - Super Arr Ver." by the famous arranger Kei Takanishi! The booklet includes comments from Mr. Naosuke Arai, former head of the Techno Soft development office, as well as arranger Kei Takanishi and others.
