13 Sentinels Aegis Rim

If you're a fan of authors such as Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov this is a game for you. The story in this game is amazing. As the name implies it revolves around 13 protagonists and how they relate to each other.

As for the game play it's split by three modes. Destruction let's you control the sentinels (Giant Mecha) and fend of hordes of Kaiju in RTS manner. The second mode is called Remembrance and here you choose a character and a episode begins.

This game is very episodic in nature and is well suited for handheld playing in short sessions despite it's big story. The third and final mode (Analysis) let's you view events that you witnessed and read about characters and various items.

I enjoyed both modes, but if you're not a fan of RTS you can change the difficulty to causal and it becomes like a walk in the park. The voice acting is superb. the soundtrack I would rate above average. The game have some very minute issues, nothing major. However once you cleared the game there's very little to do and nothing to unlock. Since I play these kind of games for the story it have very little replay value.

That said, the game last around 20-30 hours with stellar visuals!
