The First Zombie turns the traditional zombie formula upside down by letting you play as humanity's first zombie, transforming ordinary people into undead allies and conquering Tokyo's districts to create a city ruled by your growing zombie horde.
In The First Zombie, an ordinary young man suddenly awakens to discover that his entire body has become a zombie. Rather than being horrified by his transformation, he welcomes his new tireless body and comes up with an unusual idea: perhaps turning everyone into zombies could be a way to save the world.
This “reverse zombie” game changes the usual objective of the genre. Instead of hunting down the undead, players approach ordinary humans, turn them into zombies, and steadily increase their horde. The newly transformed zombies then become valuable companions who can help as the group expands.
The game takes place across recognizable areas of Tokyo, including Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ueno. Conquer each district, expand the zombie population, and gradually transform the city's streets into zombie-controlled areas.

Take control of the first zombie and experience the zombie apocalypse from the perspective of the undead rather than the survivors.
A “Reverse” Zombie Game
Instead of defeating zombies, your objective is to increase their numbers by transforming ordinary humans into members of your growing undead group.
Build Your Zombie Horde
Every human you transform can become an ally, allowing you to steadily expand your group and gain new companions as you progress.
Conquer Tokyo's Districts
Take your growing horde through recognizable Tokyo locations such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ueno, transforming each area into a zombie city.
Unexpected Zombie Companions
Your expanding group can include transformed humans as well as other unexpected companions, giving your zombie horde a distinctive cast of allies.

The project is produced by Kentaro Fujii, known for the Japanese television program Wednesday's Downtown, bringing his production background to this unusual zombie-game concept.
