Item Description

The year is 2205

"History Revisionists" began attacking the past to change history. In order to stop them, the Government of the Time appointed the "Saniwa" with protecting history. Saniwa can awaken tsukumogami (tools with spirits), the Touken Danshi. They travel through time and seek to defeat the History Retrograde Army (HRA) who seek to alter history.

―― At Honmaru
The Saniwa and Touken Danshi were enjoying a peaceful life when they were suddenly attacked by the HRA. After a fierce battle, the Touken Danshi managed to overcome the HRA, but the Honmaru was greatly damaged, weakening their military strength. In addition, in the midst of the battle, the Saniwa, who are vital to the Honmaru, disappeared.

By drifting through the time axis, they somehow managed to hide the Saniwa-less Honmaru, but there was nothing else they could do. The fifteen remaining blades used songs as their support as they lived quietly, waiting for the right moment to come.

A beautiful spring with cherry blossoms in bloom. Once again, the HRA stealthily approaches the Honmaru while it is still adrift. But then Konnosuke appears, appointed by the Government of the Time to deliver a mission referred to as a "battle investigation".

With this last hope, Mikazuki Munechika and the other Touken Danshi embark on a lengthy battle.

"Touken Ranbu Warriors, let's begin."

And so the curtain rises on this historical drama taking place in the Sengoku Era.

Fun musuo game with great collectibles
I have to say I was quite impressed with the box art plus the amount of goodies this limited edition came with and it was with every penny! The fact that they also included a special Nintendo Switch case was absolutely fantastic. The game graphics and art design are beautiful and not too intense or overly challenging overall. If you’re a fan of KT games, medieval Japanese lore , and plenty of beautiful items bundled to go with it this is definitely a great option for you to add to your collection

I love it!
The collectors edition was packed full with the extras you see on the picture and there was a pack of touken stickers as well. The artbook is well made and printed, high quality, in ste usual style of the TR artbooks. The game itself is not very hard, being a musou game we've expected some challenge, but even at the hardest difficulty it is easy to win. There are lots of minigames and they are very cute, also all the swords can become friends during shared activities. You can replay any level you've previosly cleared, in any sword formation, one thing I find weird is that the communication / conversation will not change and the original swords will be spaking with each other, even ia they are not present. Butbin all-together I like it and I am happy that I bought it, especially that the preorder was way cheaper than the current price.
