Item Description

Hatsune Miku and the vocaloids create a path for many talented and aspiring musicians. Wowaka tried his hand in writing music in 2009 and showed his keen sense of rhythm and his grasp of his generation's wants with Grey Zone ni te. In 2011, he published his album Unhappy Refrain - the album comes with three new songs and many Vocaloid chart toppers. Instead of using colorful images with his songs, he uses stylish graphics in monotone. The crystalline clear voice of Miku and the techno beat merges together, bringing the Vocaloids beyond the realm of cute.

Great & unique

I had listened to only few of wowaka's works, but they were some of my favorite songs, such as Rolling Girl and "Two-Faced Lovers". When I listened to the album I got amazed by how wowaka could make the vocaloid he used (Miku, GUMI and Luka) sound so different from song to song. The songs are great, with awesome lyrics You can recognize wowaka's style easily. And the CD art is also very unique. I totally recommend it.

A great CD for any Wowaka fan.

Unhappy Refrain has new and old songs, from Toosenboo to Rolling Girl. Great for any Wowaka fan.
I didn't know half the songs on there before, but now, some of them are my favourite songs.
A very good album.
