Great sequel and a fitting conclusion to the franchise

You have to play this if you like Prototype 1. The story continues and a fitting end to the franchise!

Hell on earth just got Heller

Vaguely remembering what the motives and story were on a game i quite enjoyed in the past in the form of Prototype 1; we jump back into the hellzone of a city ravaged by biotech anarchy (and a nice recap to boot)

Today, you are not one, Alex Mercer; you are now his handpicked no. 2 man; Heller. Conspiracies are afoot when Heller is at one point hell bent on avenging his family to uncovering the conspiracies of Blackwatch.

The Mercer virus doesn't come useless as Heller too can now shapeshift, consume foes, and get stronger with all the DNA he seeks. Hunt down those responsible and bring justice for those still alive and tormented.

Prototype 2 gives you a nice sandbox world full of more than merely scared civilians and hulking military and lets you play with the world and your powers are you see fit

Over-The-Top Fun

After 3 years, Prototype 2 comes into play and similar to 1, you are just simply over the top with all the powers and the skills of any infected with the mercer virus. Apart from the fact that you could do two skills at a time, the game has taken away a lot of the core components of the game that prototype 1 had. The armor is different, and there are fewer skills than the previous game. The game is a good day or two to play and the unique way of getting upgrades via the blackwatch network is interesting enough.

This game is simply just for venting out all your stress in a way that is just awesome and fun all at the same time. I really recommend this game for those who truly the chaotic destruction and over the top powers that prototype 1 had to offer. Even after you finish the game, for those perfectionists out there, theres a lot to do and because of the updates, a lot more stuff to unlock and skills as well.
