The Alighieri Circle: Dante's Bloodline is a first-person psychological mystery thriller for PlayStation 5 that reimagines Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy as an atmospheric journey through mystery, fear, family history, and psychological trauma. Players take the role of Gabriele Alighieri, a man burdened by a supernatural family legacy that he has spent his life trying to escape.
Every 33 years, the barrier between the human world and Hell begins to weaken. To protect his family and the world he knows, Gabriele must return to his ancestral home and perform The Ritual, accepting a destiny he has spent years running from. His journey leads him through two interconnected realities: the silent, melancholic halls of The Villa and The Dive, a distorted reflection of infernal depths.
Rather than relying on traditional combat, the PS5 experience focuses on exploration, atmosphere, investigation, and puzzle solving. Players must search for lost magical pages of the Divine Comedy, decipher esoteric riddles, discover hidden collectibles and diary pages, and piece together the tragic history of the Alighieri bloodline.
