It is a celebration of ancient China’s landscape, civilization, and culture, infused with the mystique of its own legends in stark contrast to anachronistic technological designs. It is a world that is both familiar and mysterious, one of both science and spirituality, one that is waiting to be explored.

Take the role of the calm and reliable swordsman Taishi Zhao as he fights to protect his family and uncover the truth of a blight threatens all of China. With a story deeply rooted in ancient Chinese history and mythology, Xuan Yuan Sword 7 reimagines both as one fantastical and chaotic realm under the governance of a new Xin Dynasty.

Near the end of Western Han rule, the powerful prime minister of China superseded his Emperor, promising an era of peace and prosperity. But ten years later, that promise has never been fulfilled. Instead, a decade of war and famine has left China in ruin, and its salvation seems to lie in the hands of a Mohist swordsman who gains control of a fabled artifact called the Elysium Scroll. Can the science-seeking Mohists revive their former glory, or will they fade into the pages of forgotten history?

Hidden Gem
I don’t know why this isn’t talked about more for RPG enthusiasts. The game is extremely well made with beautiful graphics and an exciting story. Definitely glad I pieced up a physical copy.

Just wow
I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it or it's series of games and I've gotta say it doesn't matter if you've played any of them or not because I jumped right in and am having a blast with this game even though I've not played any of the others it's still a great game with a great story and the music is amazing the gameplay is solid, the world is huge with big open area's to explore and just get lost in lol the battles are good you have a lock on feature that really helps out and there's so many ways to fight enemies on this game it's crazy you can summon these big animals and you have different stances and Martial arts you can perform I gotta say it's kinda overwhelming sometimes when I'm trying to keep track of all the things I can do and where I can go and all of my gear but this is a great game to just jump in and get lost it's a really fun ride playing through this game I highly recommend getting this game it is just great.
