In many ways, this game feels more like Battlefield: 2142 than a direct sequel to BF2 and you know what; I'm ok with that. :)
Fantastic online play but the single player campaign (while looking amazing) falls a little flat.

Love this game and the constant great connection makes me love it even more. Dedicated servers just makes the gameplay super smooth and the graphics are mind blowing. It's probably the best game of 2011 for sure. You will not be disappointed.

Let me start by saying that if you are looking for value, BF3 delivers in spades. That being said, the campaign is fairly mediocre (I thought BFBC2 was better). The multiplayer offers more vehicles and a steady IV drip of unlocks to keep you addicted and coming back. If you're wondering if you should get MW3 or BF3, get BF3. BF3 also offers team deathmatch, spec ops, etc. but I feel the multiplayer gameplay has more variety with the classes, game modes, and devices.

I usually play FPS for the Campaign rather than online, however having heard all of the fuss I decided to purchase. I have completed the campaign which was quite short and standard rather than excellent. I really enjoyed BF1 & BF2 as they had great characters - however this game is completely different.

However where this game is meant to shine is online. I personally found it all very confusing and there appears to be a steep learning curve. I am not sure yet if I am a fan or not.
