definitely worth to watch...

the story seems a bit odd at first.
but the ending make sense.
and it's a touching love story.
like it.

This film was recommended by my girlfriend who had seen it many years ago. She had a copy herself and had lost the disc, and this site really came through for us in finding another copy that had a Cantonese language track and everything! The movie itself is excellent, it is filmed through a very minimalist view without heavy special effects, despite having a supernatural theme. Instead the film focus's on the characters which is what is really important in a film like this. The plot is just too good to spoil, you really have to watch it for it to have the best effect. I know we'll be watching it again and again for a very long time!!

Plenty of soul, a beautiful simple story, great characters, great acting, and one of the best and most unexpected endings EVER !
If you like romantic movies with a touch of mistery and supernatural throwned into it, love a good touching and meaningfull ending and enjoy being surprised at the end of a movie, you have to watch this.
I would recomend the special box edition but it´s now out of print. But don´t let this discourage you from buying this one as it´s really that good. One of the best romantic movies i ever seen and the soundtrack is perfect.
By the way, if you love the movie don´t miss the original book where it was based. Contrary to the usual this time i realy recomend that you see the movie first because the surprise at the end has to be experienced in images before you read the plot in the book. Believe me.
