I think I never played another game that gave me the sensation of being a super hero like inFamous. The game have its flaws, like "robotized" citizens onthe streets, glitches like cars running without drivers and so on. But its a great game anyway, can't wait for the sequel.

Like other reviewers stated, this sandbox exclusive is a must buy for every PS3 owner who loves an action and fast-paced game.

InFamous use comic books storytelling elements to evolve the plot, which is rather simple, but compelling (a few homages included and well placed).

The core gameplay is simple, and there are various subsystems available to master. The Karma System, a meter that measures your good or evil actions during the course of the game, is interesting because it directly affects the plot and gameplay.

The side quests are fun, and you will spent a lot of time playing them.

There are always plenty of things to do, and that's what makes me come back (and perhaps, make other players and you) to play Infamous again and again.

The visuals aren't stunning compared with other games, but they convey the necessary to depict the world of the game.

A game is not made only by its visuals, but by the combination of all of its aspects (gameplay, sound, effects, visual, story) and InFamous does it surprisingly well.

Feels a lot like crackdown for xbox 360, except that this game has electric attacks, very cool moves and choices for being bad/good. You can collect shards, and make the city rid of evil by doing specific missions. The storyline is pretty great, definitely worth a purchase.

The low price is what attracted me to the game, not to mention the fact I like to pick up exclusives. The game had solid reviews, but I take in little of what I hear from 'professionals'. Yet I must admit, I should have bought it earlier!

The story is interesting enough, your choice of good/evil is literally black and white - thought the fact you gain access to different powers depending on your alignment makes it more interesting. On my first play through I opted to be evil, after all the game is called Infamous. However, the evil option does not always fit well with the story (especially at the start). There is seemingly little reason for Cole to become a d**k and this plot arc feels very forced (again, especially at the start).

Where the game excels is the controls, Cole is a very fast moving character who is the love child of Assassins Creed's Altair/Ezio and Crackdown's agents. The animation is at times at little 'stuttery' but the player is awarded far more control over the action of the character. Developer assistance is well hidden and you can climb on almost anything.

The combat in the game is also fast with excellent controls with more and more options and strategies opening up as abilities become available.

For any graphic hounds I can report the game is very pleasing to the eye, in fact far more so than screenshots suggest.

As you may be able to tell, I had a lot of fun playing Infamous and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with a PS3. It may not be as big as other open world games, but it is missing all the fat and chaff that comes with them - you only get good lean gaming!
