In December 2007, the action game Rockman celebrated its 20th anniversary. This art book consists of illustrations from both the first Rockman series and its subsequent Rockman X series. It is an extravagant collection of 40+ colored cover illustrations from various publications. Aside from cover illustrations, pictures that were never published for the public are gathered and printed in this artbook as well. The book is edited by Rockman's producer Keiji Inafune and the established manga artist Ariga Hitoshi. It is a must have for every Rockman fan.


昨年の12月で第一作目発売から20周年を迎えたアクションゲーム　　『ロックマン』シリーズ。
本書では、初代『ロックマン』シリーズからその続編『ロックマンＸ』シリーズまで、合計40作以上にも及ぶタイトルのイラストを収録。数々のイラストを収録した完全保存版のイラスト集ともいえる内容です。監修はロックマンシリーズのプロデューサーである稲船氏と漫画家の有賀ひとし氏。

Valuable
The only one complain I have about this book is that they put X series artworks SO SMALL!!!!!! I cannot see the details!!!! But it is an amazing book. Those who love Classic Rockman series must get this item. This book will help someone who wants to study how to draw robots and reploids well.

The ultimate Rockman Bible
It's hard to find something to say about this book other than: wonderful.
This illustration book has 336 pages in A4 format, ALL IN COLOUR. As the title suggests, it is overfilled with images, cketches, character studies and such from the Classic and X games. There's nothing about the EXE, Zero or Dash series, but don't let that stop you: the art contained in this book is top quality.
Definitely a must-have for the fans of the Blue Bomber.

A must buy for any Megaman fan
This book is full of tons of great megaman->megaman X pictures and a couple of interviews (but there in japanese).

Superb
A great buy. An unbelievably extensive compendium of Megaman/Rockman-related art to decorate the coffee tables and bookshelves of all Megaman fans around the globe.

Any proficiency in Japanese is not required even though all the text is in Japanese, furthermore, the book may even encourage Megaman fans to learn some.

Seven thumbs up.
