It’s August 1957, four years after the conclusion of Resistance 2 that left Lieutenant Nathan Hale dead on the battlefield against the invading Chimeran race. Joseph Capelli has been dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Army for killing Hale. With the Chimera completely occupying the planet, Capelli has given up on the seemingly hopeless fight and has retreated into hiding underground with his wife and young son in Haven, Oklahoma. But as the climate of the planet continues to collapse, scientist Dr. Fyodor Malikov finds Capelli with a plan to deliver a devastating blow against the occupying Chimeran force. In order to protect his family, Capelli must leave them behind and embark on a harrowing mission across the country to New York City. Along the way, he and Malikov will encounter the survivors and remnants left in the aftermath of the brutal Chimeran invasion.

A solid execution
Decent progression in the series, this 3rd installment has delivered a solid FPS with a decently polished multiplayer experience. Well worth the price and a must for any fan.

Solid and atmospheric shooter
A solid shooter with a lot going for it, not least a suite of vastly enjoyable and upgradeable weapons, and thoughtfully designed and atmospheric levels. The plot is significantly better than that of most shooters, and Hale's picaresque journey across a ruined America is surprisingly emotionally affecting.

Pretty Good
Better story than the 1st ones a lot of fun in multiplayer and not as easy as it looks.
Graphics isn't the best but it meets the aura of the game definitely recommended for those who are seeking a goot shooter especially co-op games

Great shooter
The successful multiplayer paired with the atmospheric and challenging campaign make Resistance 3 a great shooter. Both may have their limitations, but the action here is undeniably exciting. Those with the necessary accessories can use the well-implemented PlayStation Move controls (single-player only) or take on their foes in stereoscopic 3D. No matter what your gaming setup, you're in for a treat. Whether you're storming a Chimeran squad with blood in your eyes and the hope of freezing them all solid before they take your last slivers of health or tracking an enemy, tagging him, and watching him vainly try to flee the bullets that follow him around corners, Resistance 3 offers a brand of excitement you won't find in any other shooter franchise.
