Taito Memories II Gekan (Eternal Hits)

I have both of the Gekkan Memories II and both of the Joukan Memories I. They have some great arcade games along with some simpler repetative games. I get excited just hearing the intro music to these games and love the games mentioned in the first review. Look up the PSP UMD game discs of the simpler games in this collection. I wish more companies made greatest hits of their arcade games (Sega, Capcom) that haven't been released.

...reason enough for me to own this disc! A rare case of quantity and quality in the same compilation, with extremely high accuracy and a full TATE option for its vertical-screen games. Many of the games here have never been available on console in arcade-perfect form, and the improvement in games like the killer action-sidescroller Thunder Fox is stunning. At this price it's a no-brainer for fans of Taito.

Shooter fans will want Taito Memories Gekan and Taito Memories II Joukan as well, for their excellent renditions of G-Darius, Raystorm and Rayforce!
