The game MMA fans deserve
MMA fans rejoice, a realistic and properly complex simulation of the sport has finally arrived. While this game may not be appealing to your average beat-em-up or sports sim fan, if you're a fan of the UFC, and know your triangle chokes from your kimuras, there's a lot here to love.
There is a full roster of your favourite UFC fighters, though some fighters, such as Randy Couture are conspicuous by their absence.
It's not all great, the submission moves are far more difficult to achieve than a simple knockout and the lack of ring entrances is a little disappointing, but if you've always imagined yourself as feeling at home in the Octagon, then this is the game for you.
