Honestly more like 3.5 stars
The action here is solid. REALLY solid! and the game play is really fun. The dioluge is terrible. SO terrible I could not stomach to play the game twice. I started but the dialogue was so gut wrenching poor I could not sit through it anymore. The story is convoluted and totally pointless. It could be 100% none existent and would not make a difference on your motivation to kill and get to the next check point.
I am being 100% honest when I say this, the game makers are very juvenile and irresponsible in that this game is almost an ad for smoking. they smoke all the time in this game, throw it in your face, and even have lines like "you should always smoke if you get the chance." At least MGS4 had disclaimers that smoking is bad for your health. Smoking is so prevalent in this game is down right distracting. You can even use a ciggerate to distract the enemies, which is cool but do we really need a running commentary on who you should smoke when ever you get the chance. Is that really the public message you want to promote with your game?
