One day at drum practice, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong begin arguing over each other’s playing. Dixie Kong and Cranky Kong happen to walk by and see the two embroiled in a heated exchange. Dixie settles the spat by showing off her stunning skills. That’s when Cranky comes up with a brilliant idea: It’s time for the Kongs to go on tour!In Donkey Konga 2, performances are graded by how accurately players drum along to the rhythms shown on the screen. In Street Performance mode, players play for DK Coins. The better their performances, the more coins they earn. Coins are spent at the Shopping Mall to purchase expert-level music, alternate sound sets for the DK Bongos controller, and mini-games at the Shopping Mall.The Music Lab features two new mini-games. In Challenge mode, players must match a set performance score to move on to the next song, with the ultimate goal of playing every song in the game in one sitting. Battle mode pits two players against one another to see who can achieve the higher score. Hitting strategically placed POW blocks will lower opponents’ scores, and there’s a drum roll contest for bonus points as well. In Jam Session, the more the merrier – up to four players can grab DK Bongo controllers and go bananas!

I won the auction for this game + Bongo Controller with a very very reasonable price. Initially, I thought it is not a big one and I just bidded it because of the price. When I received it from the post office, my first impression was the size of it. It was bigger than I expected and very beautiful. Then, I started playing the game and I was amazed by its simplicity and attraction. I am now beating the bongo and can't find the right word to say how happy I am.

Perfection!!!
I couldn't buy it back in the day so I'm happy I was able now.
It is cheap, unique, fun and from Nintendo!

Better than the first.
Tracks still are all covers and don't go especially well with the theme, but at least the songs are popular ones now. Different regions still have different songs, so you once again have to buy all 3 versions, but this is still lots of fun, no matter which version you have.

yes oh yes oh yeah!!
its a great bundle for only 39.90 this game comes with the bongo controllers,i saw the music list and said i would rather buy Donkey Konga 1 rather than this,when i saw the list for Donkey konga 3 ,i bought this and DK 3 WARNING :USE FREELOADER OR A MODIFIED GC TO PLAY DONKEY KONG 2 IN PAL AND JPN version of GC
